White Marble Splendor: Ram Durbar idols consecrated in Ayodhya

On the auspicious occasion of his 53rd birthday, Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in the sacred city of Ayodhya. His visit was marked by deep religious and spiritual significance, as he performed rituals at the Shri Ramlala Temple and participated in consecration ceremonies at various shrines.

Upon landing at the Ramkatha Helipad, CM Adityanath's first stop was the Hanuman Garhi Temple, where he offered prayers to Lord Hanuman. Following this, he proceeded to the Shri Ramlala Temple.

At the main Ramlala Temple, the Chief Minister performed rituals and offered Aarti to Lord Shri Ram, amidst enthusiastic chants of "Jai Shri Ram" from devotees. He engaged with the pilgrims, accepting their good wishes.

A key highlight of his visit was participating in the consecration ceremony of the Ram Durbar, located on the first floor of the Shri Ram Temple. Here, the idols of Lord Shri Ram seated on a throne with Goddess Janaki, flanked by Bharat, Lakshman, and Shatrughna, along with Lord Hanuman, were consecrated with Vedic rites. The white marble idols radiated an ethereal glow, filling the temple complex with devotion.

On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra, under the Abhijit Muhurta, consecration ceremonies were simultaneously performed with Vedic chanting in all newly constructed shrines within the main temple complex. Besides the Ram Durbar and Sheshavatar, idols of Lord Shiva (Northeast corner), Lord Ganesha (Southeast corner), Lord Hanuman (middle of the southern arm), Lord Surya (Southwest corner), Goddess Bhagwati (Northwest corner), and Goddess Annapurna (middle of the northern arm) were consecrated.

The three-day ceremony concluded with prayers to invoke deities in the Yagyamandap, followed by a Havan, culminating in the centralized consecration of all deities. Devotees thronged the temple premises, expressing their devotion with fervent chants of "Jai Shri Ram" and extending birthday wishes to the Chief Minister.

Among the dignitaries present were Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust President Mahant Nrityagopal Das, General Secretary Champat Rai, and Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj.
