Lucknow Secures Fourth Position in Uttar Pradesh Health Dashboard Rankings

Lucknow tops Lucknow Division; ranks fourth across the state

Lucknow : Lucknow has achieved an impressive fourth position in the Uttar Pradesh Health Dashboard Rankings released by the State Health Department for the month of September. The district has also secured first place within the Lucknow Division, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and public health services.

Sharing the details on Tuesday, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. N. B. Singh congratulated all health officials and staff members for their dedicated efforts that led to this remarkable achievement. He informed that the Health Dashboard Rankings are published every month based on several key health performance indicators across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the latest ranking, Prayagraj, Auraiya, and Hathras occupied the top three positions in the state, followed by Lucknow in fourth place. The rankings are determined by multiple health indicators such as antenatal check-ups, full immunization coverage, distribution of family planning materials, and other critical public health parameters.

Lucknow earned 100 percent scores in full immunization and HIV testing during pregnancy, reflecting the district’s strong performance in maternal and child health services. Additionally, Mohanlalganj Block secured the top position within the division, highlighting effective implementation of health programs at the grassroots level.

Dr. Singh expressed satisfaction over the district’s progress, stating, “It is a matter of pride that Lucknow has performed exceptionally well on key health indicators. This success has been made possible through the collective efforts of all officers and healthcare staff. However, we must continue our work with the same dedication to aim for the top position in the state.”

The latest ranking underscores Lucknow’s consistent improvement in healthcare delivery, efficient monitoring mechanisms, and commitment to public well-being, setting a benchmark for other districts in Uttar Pradesh.
