Countdown to Curiosity: CMS Students Blast Off for Japan's JAXA!

Prepare for liftoff! An elite eight-member delegation from City Montessori School (CMS), Rajendra Nagar Campus I, embarked on an extraordinary 11-day educational odyssey to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) – Japan's prestigious National Space Agency. The kids having departed with their guides on June 13th, this highly anticipated tour promises to ignite young minds and broaden horizons.

Leading the charge is dedicated CMS teachers Deepti Shukla and Preeti Srivastava, guiding a bright cohort of students: Kanishka Kesarwani, Mohammad Ali Qureshi, Prabhat Mishra, Samriddhi Tiwari, Riddhi Sonkar, and Kunwar Sahib Singh Kaler.

"During this educational tour, CMS students gained invaluable insight into various aspects of space technology and advanced robotics," revealed Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. "They had the unparalleled opportunity to explore different dimensions of space exploration, including real launch pads, impressive launch vehicles, and intricate model satellites. This hands-on experience deeply immersed them in the world of space research and innovation."

Beyond JAXA, the itinerary included visits to the vibrant cities of Osaka, Hiroshima, and Tokyo, where students delved into Japan's top universities and cutting-edge research institutes. The delegation returned to India on June 23rd.
