Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Hosts Electrifying ‘KAFOV War of Bands’ Event in Lucknow

The Uttarakhand Mahaparishad brought the city alive with music and energy as it hosted the ‘KAFOV War of Bands’ event at Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant Sanskritik Upvan, Birbal Sahni Marg, on the banks of the Gomti River. The evening witnessed an intense competition among some of the most talented rock bands, who enthralled the audience with their dynamic performances.

The atmosphere was electric as five bands — The Morning Star, Equinox, Original Note Band, Trinad Exclusion, and Rubaroo — took to the stage, performing powerful renditions of songs like Uttarakhandi Mashup and Shiv Kailashon Ke Wasi. Their energetic acts had the audience cheering, clapping, and grooving to the rhythm throughout the show.

Adding to the excitement, the Paramest Folk Band performed as the guest act, mesmerizing spectators with their soulful presentation that beautifully blended traditional folk tunes with contemporary beats.

RJ Prateek, who anchored the event, expressed his delight at witnessing such a vibrant musical evening in Lucknow, calling it the first of its kind in the city. He extended his gratitude to Rajesh Bisht, Secretary, and the entire team of the Uttarakhand Mahaparishad for organizing such a successful and spirited show.

The event saw the presence of several prominent members and office-bearers of the Uttarakhand Mahaparishad, including Convener Diwan Singh Adhikari, Co-convener Hem Singh, President Harish Chandra Pant, General Secretary Bharat Singh Bisht, Senior Vice President Mangal Singh Rawat, Bhuvan Patwal, Suresh Chandra Pandey, Avdhesh Kothari, Ramesh Singh Adhikari, Parihar, Pan Singh, Suresh Joshi, Govind Ballabh Phulara, Mahesh Chandra Singh Rautela, and Rajendra Singh Kanwal, among many others.

The event concluded on a high note, with the audience soaking in the lively beats and vibrant performances that celebrated both youth spirit and cultural pride.

The Uttarakhand Mahaparishad announced that the celebrations would continue with “KAFOV Dandiya Night”, featuring a blend of Uttarakhandi, Gujarati, and Bollywood music, promising yet another night of rhythm, color, and cultural harmony at the same venue.
