Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh Signs MoU with Kiran Foundation
Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lucknow-based NGO, Kiran Foundation, to promote community development, social entrepreneurship, student internships, and social outreach initiatives.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. (Dr.) Harshal Shah, Registrar, Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, and Vishal Srivastava, Director, along with Amrisha Srivastava of Kiran Foundation. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Gurminder Kaur, Associate Dean, Department of Student Welfare; Dr. Brijendra Singh Yadav, Director, University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS); Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Associate Professor, UILS; Dr. Atul Kumar, Associate Dean, Research, Innovation & Consultancy; Dr. Sudhir Kumar Chaturvedi, Director, Aerospace Engineering; and Ayush Mishra, Madhav Tripathi, and Ankit Sharma from the Department of Student Welfare.
The partnership aims to bridge academic resources with grassroots implementation, creating opportunities for student internships, social sensitization, youth-led welfare programs, and local community transformation. The collaboration reinforces Chandigarh University’s commitment to strengthening academic-community partnerships and advancing sustainable social development through joint initiatives.
