Punjab Foundation Day Celebrated at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow

LUCKNOW : The Foundation Day of Punjab was celebrated with enthusiasm at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow, under the inspiration of Governor Anandiben Patel. The event honored Punjab's rich cultural heritage, historical contributions, and its significant role in the freedom struggle.

The venue was decorated with traditional colors, folk culture, and historical landmarks, showcasing Punjab's glorious past. The decorations featured prominent personalities, historical sites, folk art, and rural life. Traditional Punjabi attire, rural decor, and folk music added to the festive atmosphere.

A special section, 'Punjabi Rasoi,' highlighted the state's culinary delights. Colorful rangoli designs on the floor depicted the Golden Temple, mustard fields, and folk artists.

The event was attended by Special Officer to the Governor, Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Special Secretary to the Governor, Sriprakash Gupta, and other dignitaries, officials, and school children.

The celebration was a tribute to Punjab's glorious traditions, patriotism, and cultural diversity.
