New Spiritual Order emerges in Ayodhya

Year after year, the Uttar Pradesh government has endeavoured to break its own record by way of lighting record number of diyas during Ayodhya Deepotsav. The Guinness World Record has only made the average Uttar Pradesh public proudly boast of a unique feat. All in the name of Maryada Purushottam Lord Rama. This year the Deepotsava was more than just optics as India is all set to witness the resurrection of the Rama Mandir in 2024.

Interestingly the Kartik fair, which started with 14 Kosi Parikrama, reached its pinnacle of glory recently. While the parikrama has completed, the holy city saw human chains dot the radius of 42 kilometers. With the completion of the parikrama, the sea of faith started pouring in from the banks of Saryu to the major monasteries and temples for darshan and worship. The administration claims that about 22 lakh devotees have performed 14 Kosi parikrama. Panchkosi Parikrama has also happened amidst much fanfare. Nights in Ayodhya saw the surreal atmosphere filled with the devout singing praise of Lord Rama. The crowd of participants walking barefoot took a dip in the sacred Saryu, took a bath and gathered at the major temples for darshan and worship. The faithful swarmed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi along with the famous Nageshwarnath, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan and the lines kept moving till late evening.

Divine Intervention

As early as 8 in the morning, the entire Saryu ghat echoed with chants of Jai Shree Ram. The crowd of devotees performing Harikirtan, the flow of faith was also visible. Water police personnel were continuously giving instructions through loudspeakers not to bathe in deep water. A convoy of vehicles remained on the Naya Ghat Highway. After completing the parikrama, a huge crowd of devotees was seen gathered to return home. There was a rush of passengers at the railway station since morning. There was a huge crowd of passengers in the trains going from Ayodhya to Varanasi and from Ayodhya to Lucknow. There was also a competition among the devotees to witness the construction of the temple. Soon there was excitement about Panchkosi Parikrama. Interestingly there are plans that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra will invite more than 25 lakh families of Madhya Bharat province for the consecration program of Ram Lala to be held in Ayodhya in the coming January.

VHP clarion call

Representatives of 32 districts took the revered Akshat Kalash to different districts. According to Vishwa Hindu Parishad's state publicity chief Jitendra Singh Chauhan, on the call of Teerth Kshetra Trust, the workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, along with other Hindu organizations, will reach out to Hindu families in the cities and villages of the province between January 1 and 15.

VHP's call is that Hindus from all over the province should consider the temple of their locality or village as Ayodhya and gather there. Perform puja, worship and rituals as per the local tradition. Chant the Vijay Mahamantra Shri Ram-Jai Ram-Jai Jai Ram given by the revered saints. Also watch the live telecast of the grand divine program of Ayodhya.

VHP has divided the country into 45 parts and requested each part to visit Ayodhya on a fixed day between January 27 and February 22. In this sequence, arrangements have been made for the darshan of about 2500 people from Madhya Bharat province on 17th February.

New Ayodhya takes shape

Under the overall supervision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Ayodhya is creating new paradigms of city development every day. Ayodhya's Deepotsav is today becoming a unique identity typifying new India. Today grandeur and divinity can be experienced everywhere here in real form.

Deepotsav became the identity of new India

Apart from the temple, the construction of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport is also in the final stage. This fourth international airport of Uttar Pradesh is ready to become operational soon. Not only this, with the aim of establishing 'Navya Ayodhya', the process of development of a new Greenfield Vedic City with modern urban facilities on approximately 1893 acres is also in progress.

Ayodhya is developing as model solar city

Yogi Adityanath's government has already taken the decision to develop Ayodhya city as a model solar city. Be it the decision to develop a 40 MW solar power generation project on the banks of Saryu or the development of Ayodhya as a smart city, the development of Intelligent Traffic Management System is a sign of a changing Ayodhya. Apart from this, Wi-Fi facility has also been provided at four major places namely Hanumangarhi, Nayaghat, Ayodhya Railway Station and Guptarghat.

Common building code will enhance the beauty of the city

For the convenience of the devotees coming to Ayodhya, the construction work of about 13 km long 'Rampath' from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat is in progress. Common Building Code is implemented in the areas near Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, through which the beauty of the city is going to get a new dimension. That is why 'Jatayu Cruise Service' has been worked out to provide the pleasure of boat trip to the tourists/devotees.

For the convenience of the devotees, the Panchkosi and Chaudah Kosi circumambulation routes of Ayodhya Dham have been beautified and widened. Apart from this, a wonderful work of carving “Ramayana era” illustrations is going on on the parikrama route. 208 places of mythological importance falling on the Parikrama route have been equipped with necessary facilities.

Queen's Memorial Park adds a new dimension to ancient friendships

Queen Memorial Park is being developed in an area of about two thousand square meters. This will give a new dimension to the ancient friendly relations between South Korea and India. The construction of Meditation Hall, Queen Pavilion, King Pavilion, Path-way, Fountain, Murals, etc. is going on at a fast pace in the park. Apart from this, establishment of temple museum, construction of grand entrance gate of Ayodhya inspired by the design of Shri Ram temple. The sacred 84 Kosi Parikrama route was declared as 'National Highway'. Under the concept of grand Ayodhya, widening of thirteen kilometer main road of the city, shade of Ramayana period trees on both sides of the road, development and beautification work from Guptar Ghat to Janaki Ghat, grand tourism near Naya Ghat for development of tourist facilities has happened.

Revitalization of more than 108 ponds

A contract has been signed with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the operation of Shri Ram Katha Museum. The concept of Ram Aranya has been completed through PPP in Jamtara located on the banks of Saryu, where the stories of Shri Ram's 14 years of exile will be brought to life through various mediums. Revitalization of more than 108 ponds of Ayodhya, which is called the ‘city of ponds’, has started. Along with this, the light and sound show at the mythological Surya Kund has also started being conducted under the Yogi government. 67 hectare lake 'Samada Wetland' was ecologically conserved, it became a rich bio-diversity hotspot for nature loving tourists.

Connectivity increased, five star hotels will open

Ayodhya Dham railway station is being rejuvenated by the Yogi government. It is being equipped with modern facilities. Ayodhya's 4 or 6 lane road connectivity with various cities of India is surprising to the people. The resumption of Ramlila in Ayodhya, which had been closed for years, is a matter of immense joy for Ram devotees. The most unique thing is that proposals have started being received in Ayodhya from various states, religious seats, monasteries and temples for construction of guest houses and for construction of 5-7 star hotels by world class hotel chain companies.

Recasting a pristine city

15 wards are in the religious area of Ayodhya. Community/convention centers will be built in all these wards and a convention center would be made by merging two wards each of the remaining 45 wards of the Cantt area of Ayodhya. In the 33 parks of Ayodhya which have been renovated by the Municipal Corporation under the Kayakalp scheme, a group of two-three parks would be formed in all these parks and managed in a better way through private institutions.

During the review of Ayodhya Vision 2047, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mentioned the dream project Rampath Project, whose length is 12.94 kilometers from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat. Similarly, instructions were given to complete the work of widening and strengthening of 74 kilometer Bhakti Path from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path to Rampath via Hanumangarhi as soon as possible. The work of widening and strengthening of Darshan Nagar Bharatkund road whose length is 16.50 kilometers and 100 percent work of widening of 2 line road has been completed.
