Lucknow, October 27, 2025 - Governor Anandiben Patel, Chancellor of the university, chaired a comprehensive review meeting of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, and the Technical Education Department, Uttar Pradesh, at Raj Bhavan, Lucknow, today. The meeting aimed to assess the progress and challenges in technical education in the state.

Appreciation and Future Plans

The Governor appreciated the university's efforts in completing the admission process on time and introducing the DigiLocker facility for students, enhancing transparency and convenience. She emphasized the need for sustained efforts to improve technical education in the state, focusing on innovation, research, and industry-relevant curriculum.

The meeting was attended by Special Officer to the Governor (Additional Chief Secretary level) Dr. Sudhir M. Bobde, Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education, Shri Narendra Bhushan, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Prof. J.P. Pandey, and senior officials from the Technical Education Department and the university.
