IPSF Delegation Meets Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Raises Key Employee Concerns
Lucknow: A delegation of the All Indian Public Service Employees Federation (IPSF), led by its national president V.P. Mishra, met Union Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh to apprise him of pressing issues concerning government employees. The delegation included Shashi Kumar Mishra, Suresh Rawat, Vice President Girish Chandra Mishra, Sanjay Shukla, Manoj Kumar Mishra, and Ghanshyam Yadav.
During the meeting, V.P. Mishra submitted a memorandum highlighting several concerns arising from the notification of the forthcoming Eighth Pay Commission. He pointed out that the notification does not mention pension revision or the provision for dearness relief. The delegation also sought restoration of the Old Pension Scheme, regularisation of outsourced employees, enhancement of their remuneration, assurance of service security, and implementation of EPF benefits.
In response, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured the delegation that he has always maintained a positive approach toward employee welfare and will continue to do so. He stated that a meeting with IPSF national office-bearers will soon be convened in New Delhi to address all concerns and work toward practical solutions. Singh added that every effort will be made to ensure employees do not feel neglected.
