Phoenix Palassio Transforms into Candy City with ‘Holidayland’

Summer arrived in full colour and creativity at Phoenix Palassio as the mall unveiled its latest immersive attraction, Candy City, under its seasonal campaign “Holidayland.” The vibrant launch event was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Adah Sharma, drawing a lively crowd of families, children, and shoppers eager to experience the themed transformation.

The mall has been redesigned into a playful candy-inspired world, blending art, entertainment, and interactive installations. From the moment visitors enter the space, they are greeted by oversized candy structures, bright pastel pathways, and imaginative décor designed to evoke nostalgia, joy, and the carefree spirit of summer holidays.

Children quickly gravitated toward attractions such as the Candy Pit, Human Claw Setup, and Candy Path Hop Game, while families explored experiential zones that encourage participation and engagement. The Melting Mirror AR Photo Op and Sprinkle Storm Booth became instant favourites, offering visitors unique opportunities to capture selfies, GIFs, and short videos in whimsical candy-themed settings.

The experience zone features a wide range of interactive games and installations, including Candy Toss, Spin the Wheel, Mini Golf, and life-size popsicle displays. The Candy Land Canopy, with its colourful overhead design, has emerged as one of the most photographed areas, alongside themed kiosks and candy carts placed throughout the activation space.

Among the most talked-about attractions is the Human Claw Machine, where children step inside a giant claw setup while parents cheer from outside, creating a lively, carnival-like atmosphere. The Candy Pool and Ball Pit zones also witnessed continuous footfall, especially during evening hours.

Adding a digital dimension to the experience, the AR Candy Land Filter Zone allows visitors to generate playful candy-themed content using augmented reality effects. Meanwhile, interactive games like Batak Challenge and Candy Path Hop test reflexes, coordination, and agility, keeping both children and teenagers engaged.

The event also includes creative installations such as donut corners, candy swings, cake-inspired photo booths, and carousel-style setups, all designed to encourage social media-friendly moments and family interaction.

Speaking at the launch, Sanjeev Sarin, Retail Director (North), Phoenix Mills, said the concept aims to create joyful shared experiences. “Candy City under Holidayland is designed to bring families together in a space filled with happiness, playfulness, and lasting memories,” he noted.

The Candy City experience will remain open throughout the summer season, continuing to offer visitors an evolving mix of games, attractions, and immersive entertainment at Phoenix Palassio.
