Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Laxmi Shankar Nishank

The 107th birth anniversary of the renowned litterateur and poet, Dr. Laxmi Shankar Nishank, was celebrated with great fervor at the Nirala Sabhaghar, Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow. The event was presided over by the esteemed poet, Dr. Uday Pratap Singh.

On this occasion, two eminent scholars, Prof. Surya Prasad Dixit and Dr. Lalit Singh Pokhariyal, were honored for their outstanding contributions. We extend our warm congratulations and best wishes to them.

The program was marked by a special moment when the son of the late Avadhi Shironmani, Shri Chandrabhushan Trivedi 'Ramai Kaka', recited his father's compositions, evoking fond memories. The speaker reminisced about their childhood days, reciting Avadhi compositions of Ramai Kaka at literary gatherings, inspired by their father.

The presence of esteemed guests, including Doordarshan Director,  Atmaprakash Mishra, and revered Vidya Bindu Singh, added grandeur to the event. Their addresses enriched the celebration, making it a memorable tribute to Dr. Nishank's legacy.
