London: India’s fast-evolving craft beverage sector achieved a landmark moment as Maeve Mead made its international debut at the IFE – International Food & Drink Event.
Crafted by Mbrosia Nature Living, Maeve represents a new generation of Indian artisanal beverages rooted in agriculture and innovation. Produced at the orchard-integrated Maeve Orchard Estate in Madhav Udyan, the mead reflects a farm-to-bottle philosophy, combining natural ingredients with refined fermentation techniques. Its showcase at IFE highlighted India’s growing capabilities in value-added agri-products and premium craft beverages.
The unveiling drew the presence of officials from the High Commission of India in London, including Nidhi Mani Tripathi, Hamna Mariyam Khan, and Rakesh Dahiya, underlining institutional support for Indian brands expanding globally. Senior dignitaries such as Indra Vikram Singh, Secretary, Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Dr. Sudhanshu also attended the event.
Speaking at the launch, CEO Madhvendra Deo Singh emphasized that Maeve blends traditional fermentation wisdom with modern innovation to position Indian mead on the global stage. The initiative, supported by the Uttar Pradesh government and led by Manoj Kumar, reflects India’s growing footprint in niche international beverage markets.
As Indian craft producers increasingly explore global platforms, Maeve’s debut signals a promising shift—where heritage, sustainability, and entrepreneurship converge to redefine India’s presence in the premium beverage landscape.
