UP CM Directs Development of Airport, Railway Station, and Logistics Park in BIDA region

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the development of an airport, railway station, and multi-modal logistics park in Bida, a key industrial hub in Bundelkhand region.

Reviewing the progress of the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (Bida), the CM emphasized the need to enhance connectivity in the region. He suggested extending the Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway to Bida/Jhansi and establishing a railway station in Bida.

The CM also directed the development of a multi-modal logistics park and a node of the Delhi-Nagpur Industrial Corridor in Bida. He instructed UPIEDA to expedite the construction of a link expressway connecting the Bundelkhand Expressway to Bida.

The meeting was informed that 22,028 acres of land have been acquired out of the total 56,662 acres approved for Bida. A special software has been developed to make the land acquisition process transparent and online.

The CM directed that the land acquisition process be completed within six months and instructed the deployment of additional revenue personnel within a week and engineers and town planners within 15 days.

The CM emphasized that Bida will be a growth engine for Uttar Pradesh's industrial development and a model for ease of doing business and job creation. He directed creating a conducive environment for investors, providing opportunities for regional youth.
