Tell us a little about how Kursi Road campus came up, how do you see it's evolution over the years?
How would you describe the overall USP of this campus?
The USP of our campus lies in its holistic approach to education, which seamlessly integrates parents and the community into the school curriculum. This integration significantly enhances student learning and fosters a strong bond of trust among parents, students, and school staff.
In addition to regular Parent-Teacher Meetings, parents are actively involved in special assemblies and designated special days, creating a collaborative and supportive educational environment. This close-knit involvement builds a sense of community and ensures that students receive a well-rounded education enriched by diverse perspectives and experiences.
Moreover, the campus places a strong emphasis on global citizenship education. By incorporating this into the curriculum, students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to understand and engage with global issues.
Talking of student excellence, how are the youngsters doing both in academics and other co - curriculars?
We emphasise the importance of Spiritual Development and ethics in our students' lives. Through various activities, such as meditation sessions, mindfulness practices, and value-based assemblies, we nurture their spiritual growth. These activities help students develop a strong moral compass, inner peace, and a sense of purpose.
Physical education is a cornerstone of our curriculum. Our students have access to top-notch facilities and coaching in sports like basketball, football, cricket, and swimming, all provided at no additional cost. Regular physical activity not only enhances their fitness but also instils discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
Our programs are designed to challenge and stimulate the intellectual curiosity of our students. Sports Day is a much-anticipated event held every alternate year. It is a day dedicated to celebrating athletic prowess, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students participate in a variety of sports and athletic events, showcasing their skills in track and field, team sports, and individual competitions. The day is filled with excitement and camaraderie as students, parents, and staff cheer for their favourite teams and athletes. It provides an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their physical abilities and the hard work they put into their training.
Annual Day, alternating with Sports Day, our Annual Day is a grand celebration of our students' artistic and intellectual talents. This event features cultural performances, including dance, drama and music. We select a unique theme that reflects our educational values and the spirit of the school. Students eagerly prepare for months, and their performances are a testament to their creativity and dedication.
Our Winter Carnival has become a beloved tradition, eagerly awaited by students, parents, and staff alike. This festive event is a day of fun, food, games, and music, creating a joyous atmosphere that brings the entire school community together. The carnival features a variety of stalls offering delicious food, exciting games, and creative activities. There are also musical performances and dance numbers that keep everyone entertained throughout the day. The Winter Carnival is not only a day of enjoyment but also a wonderful opportunity for families to bond and create lasting memories.

How do you make sure education at Kursi Road campus goes beyond rote learning?
Our students actively participate in plantation drives, contributing to environmental conservation and promoting green initiatives. These drives not only beautify our surroundings but also teach students the importance of ecological sustainability.
Through nukkad nataks, students raise awareness about pressing social issues such as health, hygiene, education, and environmental conservation. These street plays are a powerful medium for students to engage with the community and advocate for positive change.
Organizing health camps allows our students to collaborate with medical professionals and provide essential health services to underprivileged communities. This hands-on experience is invaluable in teaching empathy and the importance of healthcare.
Special Guest Sessions to further enrich our students' learning experiences, we regularly invite special guests to our campus.
What are your greatest takeaways as the Principal yourself?
As the Principal of Seth M.R Jaipuria Kursi Road Campus, I have garnered several key insights that have profoundly shaped my approach to education and leadership. Effective communication is fundamental to the success of any educational institution. Balancing administrative duties with being a visible presence in the school is crucial for building trust and rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Open communication channels among all stakeholders ensure that everyone works in unity to achieve our common goals. Regular interactions and feedback sessions help in addressing concerns promptly and fostering a collaborative environment.
Being actively involved in the day-to-day life of the school, while also managing administrative responsibilities, is essential. It allows me to stay connected with the students and staff, understand their needs, and provide timely support. This balance is critical in creating a positive and inclusive school culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
At the heart of every decision I make is the well-being and academic success of our students. Ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where students can thrive is my top priority.
