Greening the Future: City Montessori School’s Van Mahotsav Plantation Drive Shaheed Path Underpass, 4th July 2025

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, the Eco Club members of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension enthusiastically conducted a Plantation Drive under the able guidance of the Environment Coordinator, Ms. Shalini Shrivastava.

This green initiative was carried out in collaboration with the eco-conscious society Jijiwisha, led by Ms. Manjeeri Upadhya, along with their dedicated team of volunteers. The plantation took place at the location near the Shaheed Path underpass, with the aim of rejuvenating the area with fresh greenery and promoting awareness about environmental sustainability.

Eco Club students actively participated in planting various saplings, learning the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance. The event not only instilled a sense of environmental responsibility among students but also strengthened community partnerships towards a greener future.

The Plantation Drive served as a beautiful expression of unity, care for nature, and commitment to environmental well-being — truly aligning with the spirit of Van Mahotsav.
