The state has been awarded several awards for better performance in health services in 2023. At the same time, the Yogi government has taken many important steps to make the state a hub of drug manufacturing. As a result of this, today Medical Device Park, Bulk Drug Park, MedTech Park are taking shape in the state. Apart from this, the Yogi government, which is working on zero pocket cost on treatment, has done a lot of commendable work.

This year, the Ministry of Medical Health and Family Welfare has given National Quality Assurance Certificate to 81 medical units of 46 districts for providing quality health services to the district hospitals of the state, which includes 43 district level, 16 community health centers and 22 primary health centers. At the same time, other medical units of the state have also been awarded NQA certificate. Lucknow has received the highest number of NQAS i.e. 15 health units. NQAS is a national certificate given by the Government of India's institution 'National Health System Resource Center', which is received by testing health units on various parameters and meeting the standards.

In this regard, Balrampur Hospital Director Dr. Pawan Kumar Aruna said that after receiving NQAS, facilities for patients have increased in his hospital. The ICU has been updated. The sense of responsibility has increased in the hospital staff who were involved in the process of receiving NQAS. Among these, the capital is at the first place. The capital's Civil Hospital, Jhalkari Bai Hospital, Avanti Bai Hospital, Rani Laxmi Bai Hospital, Lokbandhu Hospital, RML Hospital, Bakshi Ka Talab and Sarojini Nagar CHC and five Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have received the NQAS certificate.

Yogi government has promoted Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) training to increase the capacity of ANM, LHV (Lady Health Visitor), Staff Nurse, Ayush Mahila Doctors posted at the delivery centers of the state to provide 100 percent safe delivery facility to pregnant women in the state and to reduce maternal and infant mortality rate.

Kidney transplant, which was stopped due to some technical reasons in KGMU, has been restarted. Apart from this, a PET scan machine, which plays a very important role in cancer diagnosis, has been installed in the campus. At the same time, OPD of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) was started in Queen Mary. This has relieved infertility patients from going to private institutions. CM Yogi has sent a letter to the officials and Chief Medical Officer of all these districts to open 5000 health sub-centers in 40 districts of the state.

According to this instruction given by the government, health sub-centers will be opened in the following 40 districts -

Gazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi, Sonbhadra, Rampur, Amroha, Moradabad, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Hardoi, Unnao, Sitapur, Rae Bareli, Auraiya, Etawah, Kanpur Dehat, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Siddharth Nagar, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Mau, Ballia, Shravasti, Balrampur, Gonda, Barabanki, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Firozabad, Agra, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit and Bareilly.
