Educational Material Distribution Held Under Kiran Foundation's "Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam" Campaign

MOHAN, UTTAR PRADESH : A tree plantation drive and free educational material distribution program was organized by the Kiran Foundation at Composite School, Mohan on Saturday under the foundation's "Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam" (A Sapling in Mother's Name) campaign.

Deepesh Kumar, Block Education Officer of Hasanganj, attended the event as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Samarjit Yadav, Chairman of Mohan, Mohsin Raza, Councilor of Mohan, and Gauri Savariya, Councilor and Patron of the Kiran Foundation.

The program began with the planting of saplings by the chief guest, distinguished guests, school staff, and students. Addressing the children, speakers highlighted the environmental benefits of tree plantation. They spoke about the importance of trees in sustaining human life and other living beings, and stressed the need for their protection and conservation. 

Inspired by the session, the students took a pledge to plant more trees and to take responsibility for caring for them.

As part of the campaign, the Kiran Foundation distributed free stationery and educational materials to all 300 students of the school. To add to the celebrations, the children were also given chips, Frooti, and candies, which brought smiles to their faces.

The event was coordinated by the teacher-in-charge, Charul Chandra. In her concluding remarks, she thanked all the guests, members of the school family, and collaborators for their support in making the program a success.

All teachers, parents, and students of Composite School, Mohan were present during the event.

The "Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam" campaign aims to promote environmental awareness while honoring mothers by encouraging the planting of a sapling in their name, combining the goals of ecological conservation and community welfare.
